As of December 15, 2024, just seven business days before Christmas, the OGD has issued 23 full-approval actions and 11 tentative-approval actions. With the holiday quickly approaching and facing what is likely a full FDA vacation schedule, what will the end of the month look like?
A total of 34 full and tentative approval actions at this point in the month does not bode well for a record-breaking approval action total for the full month. Last December, there were 53 full approvals and 11 tentative approvals issued. But you never know – perhaps Santa has a bag full of approvals yet to be delivered this month. Keep your eyes to the sky as the sleigh flies over Bethesda, and we will let you know what gets delivered early in January.
