Looks like the heat of July did not put a crimp in the OGD’s approval actions, at least through mid-month! As of the posting on July 16, 2024, the OGD has issued 39 full-approval actions and 8 tentative-approval actions a total of 47, for what will be (if the approval actions continue at this rate) a very good month for the OGD. We could end up with close to or over 90 approval actions, which would be the highest monthly total in FY 2024.
The flow of approval actions started early and persisted throughout the first half of the month. We will provide our unofficial totals for the month a few days after the end of July. Hopefully we will have a lot to cheer about for July! This is especially true as July is typically a big vacation month for federal employees, specifically around the 4th of July, so the activity seen in the first half of the month is very encouraging. Let’s hope the fireworks continue!
